Hotline System & Services designed and developed a mobile app for a leading home appliances brand that helped them monitor on-ground sales force in real time. The app helped Glen to track sales performance of not only the field force but provided data cuts by area managers, region, product category, dealers and distributors. GPS tracking helped them weed out non performing sales personnel and increase productivity by over 40%.
About the Client
A leading Home Appliances Brand with presence across 280 locations in 28 states. The brand employs over 800 people has annual revenues running into 100's of crores.
Business Challenge
The client wanted to closely monitor the activities of its 400+ on-ground sales personnel. This meant that constant real-time updates had to be possible and this feed was required to be stored and available for easy retrieval and audit whenever needed. The objective of such a system was to increase productivity and efficiency of the sales team.
Other challenge was to boost sales and identify bulk buyers and manage dealer/distributor relationship. The company needed better insight into the bulk order details of its independent dealers/distributors.
Engagement Overview
Leveraging the growing familiarity of Smartphone app, HSS decided to create an Android App with simple UI and GPS based tracker to record field force activities. The idea behind developing the app is to reduce costs, time and hassles associated with the using a web based CRM product. The core objectives of the sales app were:
